Board of Directors Position Update

- Review Annual Assessments unpaid for 2023 (only one)

Marina Maintenance Update
- Completed Maintenance
- Replaced all parking lot light bulbs; 2 x unsafe to change out because too close to rocks; one socket is broke (center)
- Replaced pedestal light bulbs
- Fixed broken rub rail in Marina (on-going)
- Replace boathouse light bulbs – recheck porch and outdoor garage lights
- New and Ongoing Maintenance
- Conducted electrical check of all Pedestals. All those not working under repair NLT April 1 (Electrician – Nick O’Lone)
- Repair Dock triangles, Dock under-bracing, and one G-Dock float – PJ Handyman, complete all work NLT April 1 (Final Phase)
- Office Renovation
- Vacuumed/cleaned air vents and replace air filters
- Moved Dockmaster desk to window area
- Painted office
- Purchase zinc anodes and place on docks and monitor throughout season
- Repair cracked Marina well casing prior to dock water turn-on, which is the week of April 17 (Plumber Jerry)
- Fix Women’s rest room toilet (Parts) – Plumber Jerry
- Install bollards to protect well casing after Jerry repairs the well casing (April 17)(Contractor David)
- Install new dock boxes and receive payment (Dockmaster Tom)
- Replace dock pedestal photocells that are burnt-out (Dockmaster Tom will coordinate with Chuck)
- Inspect and replace needed life-rings in Marina (23” Taylor made Life-rings)
- Order new dock signs for faded signs at Gate entrances
- Paint last parking lot light pole bottom black (2nd Gate area)
- Cap replacement and repair at boat ramp by P. Hekl
- Replace parking lot light globe that was blown off during wind storm
- Re-install Marina boat ramp sign that blew over during storm (Contractor David)
- Re-paint 2 x yellow speed bumps and white stop line
- Power wash parts of Boathouse
- Refurbish red and green Summer buoys and replace – buy new batteries
- Dump run including Dock box cardboard. Date? Use Delaware Solid Waste Authority – Frankford, 33086 Burton Farm Rd, Frankford, DE; Delaware Solid Waste Authority, Bridgeville
- Marina Spring Start-up

- Plan and host Delaware Boater Safety Course conducted by the USCG Auxiliary Indian River Station. Cost is $20 per student. Location is Mariner’s Church Hope Center. Determine date.

- Schedule insurance update for upcoming Board meeting on 2023 Marina insurance coverage and binder; Pratt Insurance – Kevin Malloy

- DNREC – 3 years; USACE – 10 years (USACE permit is good)
- Previous Marina dredging conducted December 1-31, 2017, $100+K
- Acquire new Permit Contractor (formerly used Dr. Evelyn Maurmeyer, Dredging, Coastal & Estuarine Research, Inc., at a cost around $3.5K)

- Review hosting meeting with Engineering firm that studied Seagrass Plantation
- Review Marina Replacement proposals; previous estimate August 2020 at $3.8M
- Conduct new Marina replacement estimate for 2023
- Establish a separate Marina Replacement Financial Committee from Marina Slip Owners; include Marina investment review
- Review Capital Improvement loan information with Banks
- Review State or Federal Grant for new Marina. Grant availability, seek out DNREC and State Rep Ron Gray, and obtain a Grant writer
