  • Conduct turn-over procedures for two newly elected Board members; Darryl Bodnar and Michael Cassera (binders, keys, codes, cameras, eFiles, etc.)
  • Update on dredging permit and dredge timeline

2026 Annual Meeting

  • BCMSOA Annual meeting follow-ups;
    • What if the BCMSOA does not achieve the 60% required vote during the 2027 Annual Meeting?
    • Next steps –
      • Schedule meeting on the Marina new design; needed for Federal and State permit process
      • Provide periodic updates to Slip Owners on design and cost

Marina Maintenance Update

  • Completed Maintenance
    • Matt’s Paving Company filled in the pothole near the boat ramp (free)
    • PJ (Carpenter) completed budgeted 2026 dock repairs – floats; triangles, aluminum covering
    • Repaired 3” main pipe break in front of Gate 2
  • New and Ongoing Maintenance
    • Purchase bench stock of 3” main fittings
    • Continue safety item dock repairs
    • Repair triangle at Slip C-20
    • Repair pedestal at Slip C-1
    • Repair Pedestal light and sensors – red tape marks those still not working
    • Repair white hand railings on Marina garage ramp
    • Replace parking lot light bulbs
    • Repaint water shut-off markings on Docks – blue with white lettering
    • Trim basin grass

Marina Business Update

    • Updating renewal of boat registrations and insurance forms

  • Review Slip Rental numbers for 2026 compared to previous years; currently 101 Renters, or 41% of Marina Slips
  • Saturday, July 11, 2026 – USCG Auxiliary Indian River Station is hosting a Delaware Boater Safety Course at the Millville Fire Company. Cost is $30 per student.  Include an Indian River Bay familiarization portion for new Owners/Renters.  POC USCGA Jack Gallagher, and Slip G-10 Renter, and Michael (Board POC)

Marina Replacement Committee – MRC

  • Completed the Marina site visit with Dissen & Juhn and Meeco Sullivan on Monday, April 27, to Rock Hall Landing Marina in Rock Hall, Md
  • Begin Federal and State permit process beginning of 2027; estimate two years for approval process
    • Reviewing Capital Improvement loan information with banks
    • Marina Replacement proposal
      • 2026 proposal; January 2026 $4.7M by Dissen & Juhn/Meeco Sullivan
      • Selected one General Contractor (GC) – Dissen & Juhn
        • GC control Sub-contractors, to include Meeco Sullivan
        • GC take care of Federal and State permits
