Approval and web posting of Minutes from the August Monthly Board Meeting held on August 21, 2024.

Marina Maintenance Update
- Completed Maintenance

- PJ Carpentry completed 2024 repairs on dock; triangles, decking, main joints, aluminum diamond plates
- Replaced all burnt-out pedestal lighting on docks (15ea)
- Replaced burnt-out parking lot lights (one socket electrical issue; two new outages)
- Completed dump run of waste materials
- Cleaned out garage
- Trimmed basin perimeter
- Power washed boat house deck
- Trimmed back grasses on G-dock
- Replaced H-dock white light with green light
- Cleaned dock environmental box
- Completed and certified annual fire inspection of docks and boat house (one Exit sign bulb still needs replaced – main door)
- Replaced skid strips on Gate No. 1 ramp
- Replaced exterior light bulbs on boat house and reset on/off timer
- New and Ongoing Maintenance

- Purchase and installation of aluminum diamond plating
- Provide PJ Carpentry a list of 2025 repairs to be completed NLT April 1, 2025
- Scheduled water turn-off to docks with Jerry for November 4-8
- Repair Security cameras in Marina – #2 on corner of porch, repair license plate camera reader – both not working
- Indian River Marina (DNREC) has same security cameras
- Clean and renumber as required dock pedestals May 2025
- Slip Owners/Renters continue cleaning of dock boxes April 2025

- Previous Marina dredging conducted December 1-31, 2017, $100+K, Clarke Droney (estimate was $27 cyd)
- Clarke Droney available end of 2025 to early 2026 to dredge
- Finalizing dredge material spoil site
- Land owner – Chris Magee, Frankford
- Price is $3.25 per cyd (4,100 cyds x $3.25 = $13,325)
- Conduct 2025 bathymetric study on just the dredge area prior to dredging
- Review dredge date –wait one-year until end of 2025, early 2026
- Review Marina Monthly activity task list for October, November, December
Future Business
- Conduct survey of Slip Owners on Marina replacement and assessment
- 2025 – Plan and host Delaware Boater Safety Course conducted by the USCG Auxiliary Indian River Station. Slip Renter is Instructor. Cost is $20 per student
- Marina Replacement proposals; previous estimate August 2020 at $3.8M, and May 2023 at $4.35M (UPDATE)
- Review Capital Improvement loan information with banks
