  • 2020 Board Election nominees – Two Candidates selected by Nominating Committee; Hank Larsen and Don Degidio; two positions open for 2020.

  • Ongoing – Panel Box overhead roof installation (Gate 1 and 2)

  • Ongoing – Updating Marina website – Delaware Digital Design, Kerri Fox. Samples to be reviewed this week.

  • Front sign light, building cupola light, building porch lights, parking lot light fixture, and four underground electrical boxes completed. Flag illumination light still to be completed.

  • Completed – New Dockmaster –Tom McDade – onboarding and training.

  • Completed – boat sale.

  • Completed – Annual Letter mailing with updated Rules and Regulations, election material, Dockmaster introduction, and new Slip Owner Information Data Sheet.

New Business

  • Annual Meeting preparation (Saturday, May 2, 2020, 10:00 AM) will be postponed due to the COVID-19 health restrictions

  • COVID-19 Planning

    • Federal and State Policies. (put out in email and signs)

      • Federal. USCG – no additional restrictions, safety stops, SAR

      • State. DNREC – social distancing (10), no major tie-ups

    • Marina Protocols and Policies. (put out in email and signs)

      • During the crisis, the Dockmaster will continue to work, but no one is to be allowed in the office

      • Restrooms closed with a sign.

      • Boat ramp and dock gate protocols to remain unchanged.

  • New Slip Owners and Renter procedures

    • Database updated

    • An email with general information (e.g. rules and regulations, budget)

    • New Slip Owner Data Sheet and revised Slip Rental Lease “Exhibit A” sheet

  • Marina office building alarm – replace back-up battery must be purchased

  • Review the Spring work maintenance plan

    • Office building open and water turn-on – completed.

    • Dock water turn-on and red/green buoys replaced; week of April 13-17.

    • Pedestal lights – check (Board) and replace bulbs (Dockmaster)

    • Pedestal stencil renumbering; order and replace (Dockmaster)

    • Minor dock repairs – B-16 (dock board), E-30 and F-50 (rub-rail)

    • Insurance liability forms updated ($300K) on file (Dockmaster)

    • Owner/renter database with phone numbers, emails, and insurance (Dockmaster)

    • Marina slip owner/renter board updated (Dockmaster)

  • Marina Dredging – take depth readings at channel entrance at various tides
