ANNUAL ELECTION

• The two candidates, Charles (Chuck) Scharp and David J. Deganich, ran unopposed and
were unanimously elected. Their term in office starts August 1, 2015 and runs for three
years.
FINANCIAL REPORT

there was $377,346.97 in the Capital Reserve Account and $79,729.70 in the Checking

• Brian explained to the Members the present condition of the entrance to the marina. He
explained that the current condition of the entrance seems to have actually gotten better
over the winter according to reports from boaters who have used the entrance this year.
This condition, if true, will allow the marina board to review dredging for the future and not
as an emergency if continued silting had occurred over the winter. ver the winter.

• Brian gave an explanation regarding the Marina participation in the ‘WOUNDED
WARRIOR PROJECT. Our marina will take part in ‘OPERATION SEAs THE DAY’ and our
Captains will be asked to participate by providing an afternoon on the water for the an afternoon on the water for the
visiting Wounded Warrior families. The dates for this event will again be in September
2015 and we will be providing the boating option to the Wounded Warriors and their

A question about the proposed ramp dock and stairs was raised and Brian informed those in
attendance that 77% of the votes returned from the survey sent out with the billings favored the
new ramp facility and it would be pursued once the contractor gave us a final estimate to do
the work and the price was within our budget constraints.
Another question was raised about the possibility of smoothing out the steepness of the launch
ramp. It was discussed and Brian assured the members he would look into the matter but rs he would look into the matter but
thought it may be beyond this year’s budget allowances.
There being no further questions Brian adjourned the meeting at 11:15 a.m. and wished
